My Latest Pretties

If you read this blog, I bet you adore finding vintage treasures like I do! There is nothing like looking through a messy table or a dirty old box and finding a treasure that makes your heart beat faster!! Sounds crazy but it happens. It's the thrill of finding something wonderful from the past. Something that has a story or two behind it. I dream of what that story might be. Sometimes, the owner is gracious enough to share the history of it. I love that! These are a few of my latest finds. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Trinkets and Treasures

It has been a few days since I have posted! I have been sharing my time between adding great items to my website and painting more furniture. I really enjoy both, but wish there were more hours in the day.... I have been dying to post the vintage goodies that I found last weekend. It was beautiful weather and I had so much fun exploring. Here are a few things that I found before I ran out of money :-)

A beautiful blanket from New Zealand

A 1950's Christmas Santa pitcher and 6 matching mugs

A lovely lot of vintage and antique jewelry pieces

I couldn't resist this sheep fur owl!

Antique Christmas decorations called Gifulamps!

A wonderful box of antique Cheetah looking fur collars, an Ermine collar,
fur hats and a mink necklace!

A pretty vintage wall pocket, I believe by Roseville

See you at the next post! Please feel free to share some of your vintage finds too!

Okay, I Am A Girly Girl!

I adore anything feminine. I aways have. Frilly, flirty, ruffled, pink, roses, silk, etc. etc. My poor husband. I knew I had a wonderful man when he let me paint the living room walls ice pink. Oh, was that color gorgeous! I never tired of it. When I am looking for vintage or antique treasures, you will see, my eye gravitates toward the more feminine items. Since we sell our finds to all sorts of collectors, I am really trying to find unique "mens" items, or things that have a masculine feel. Here are just a few of my latest finds. What fun finding them!

A very heavy manual date stamp by Bates

A croc embossed leather case with working clock

A heavy gadget that may be an early credit card processor

An old, heavy enameled steel, tape dispenser and weapon :-)

A cute antique painted metal toy register bank
